Sarsılmaz is an agile, armored emergency response vehicle which aims to recover the lost time while transferring patients in case of emergency. Sarsılmaz, as a result of our collaboration with our designer Türker Acartürk, was designed and projected by Formeta Design as a concept vehicle to discourse people in need, especially when they are in a hurry for the hospital. Because the most crucial element of first aid is eliminating the reason which caused injury. Under normal conditions, first aid is applied before the injured is transferred to the ambulance. But, sometimes such as a state of emergency, it may not be possible. So, the most critical element of the first aid becomes transferring the injured person to the hospitals or safety zones. Still, there will be a loss of time which is vital, while transferring patients. Thus, with the unique system of Sarsılmaz we aimed to transform the emergency response vehicle into a mobile hospital to prevent time loss.
Sarsılmaz has two main components which are in-built with six pneumatic pistons to each other. With the help of these pistons, the container section, which is the first aider and the patient and the doctor are traveling in, remaining stable regardless of the road conditions. Moreover, the first-aider can find a chance to apply first aid without ever moving as if they are on the ground.
