Formeta Design is an independent industrial design studio based in Istanbul, working with clients internationally.

Our practice connects product strategy, industrial design, engineering development and digital experience design. Our portfolio includes healthcare devices, mobility products, industrial equipment, home appliances, furniture and digital platforms.
Each project begins with its own users, technical requirements and development context. We work directly with client teams. Some engagements begin with research and concept development; others focus on a specific product phase, interface or production handoff.
Our Story
Founded by Mert Sezer, the studio began as Mertadam Design in 2012 and became Formeta Design in 2020. Mert and partner Melda Yanmaz lead the studio across design and marketing.
Alongside consultancy work, Formeta develops its own products. CARRYFIX explores an everyday carrying problem through Formeta House. Our digital products include Designlogger, which brings design phases, decisions and shared references together for teams and clients, and AllDesignWeeks, a global design event directory with map and list discovery. Developing these products connects our interface design practice with ongoing questions of information architecture, search, filtering and editorial care.
