Infant Tag
Smart Safety System for Newborn Identity and Tracking
Client: Borda Technology – Status: In Production
INFANT TAG is part of Borda Technology’s hospital identification and location tracking system. Formeta Design developed the industrial design of wearable tags used for mothers and newborns, with concept development, design management and rapid prototyping.
A shared enclosure supports both tag types. Colour and printed graphics distinguish their roles while keeping the product family consistent. The design also accommodates an emergency nurse call button.
The tags operate within a wider network of readers and locators. Our work focused on the physical objects people wear and handle, making identification, controls and the relationship between devices clear within the hospital workflow.
