Design Approach
The source concept includes live consumption tracking, billing targets and comparisons. Our physical design gives those functions a domestic presence, using centrally positioned lights to create a moiré effect across the front surface.
The project considers how an energy device can fit into a home while communicating activity. The enclosure and light treatment give a technical function an identifiable, restrained form.
