ERGO is a spice grinder developed for Chef Seasons. Formeta Design explored different ways people hold a grinder instead of assuming a single fixed grip.

Design Approach
The design supports the familiar action of holding the base and turning the cap, as well as an alternative action that involves gripping and rotating the lower part. Texture on the upper surface gives the hand a defined contact area.
The project connects packaging form with use. Grip, rotation and the surfaces touched during seasoning informed the shape, making ergonomics part of the product identity.
