Design and Product Development at ITU

Mert Sezer represented Formeta Design at the ISO ETP Design Summit, held at Istanbul Technical University under the theme “Shaping the Future”.

The event gave the studio an opportunity to present its work and discuss the relationship between design, technology and product development. Mert also joined a panel on the future of the design industry.

We thank Gülname Turan and ITU’s Industrial Design Department for the invitation. The summit was organised by ISO ETP with support from the European Union.

Formeta Design at Design Week Türkiye 2021

The studio's exhibition stand, the public launch of Carryfix, and a Design Turkey Good Design Award for the ROQU Unibody e-Scooter.

Formeta Design exhibited at Design Week Türkiye in 2021. The stand brought together work across mobility, healthcare, consumer products and industrial equipment.

The event also included the Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards, a programme organised by the Ministry of Trade, TİM and ETMK.

The exhibition presented projects developed for Turkish and international clients, showing the studio’s work across different product categories.

Launching Carryfix

Carryfix was introduced to the public at the exhibition. Formeta developed the portable handle through its own resources, from design and engineering to production and packaging.

Design Turkey Good Design Award
