KANUNI is a 37-metre passenger vessel designed for Dentur Avrasya’s Bosphorus services. Formeta Design worked on the exterior and interior of the double-ended ferry, with accommodation for up to 350 passengers.

Design Approach
The double-ended arrangement supports docking and boarding from either end. Interior planning considered lounges, circulation and access for passengers with mobility needs, alongside the requirements of a busy urban route.
The exterior was developed in relation to Istanbul’s waterfront and skyline. Technical development and construction involved Utopia International Marine and Matesis Marine & Engineering, bringing the design into a wider marine engineering programme.
