Demand for micromobility systems has been raised for avoiding crowds, adjusting everyday actions for rapidly changing lifestyles and making sustainable choices. Boqu Scooter is the answer to our needs for personal space, safety and sustainability in regards of transportation. As Formeta Design, we conducted the entire design process of Boqu scooter which responds to the future demands of the society for Nanobility Technologies. Designed with iconic details, Boqu Scooters disrupt urban mobility systems with their safer driving experience.
Boqu Scooter’s iconic appearance has been supported by many details along with enhancing ergonomics. Compact handlebar which consists of entire mechanical parts has differentiated Boqu scooters, from its alternatives by minimizing production costs besides maximizing safety. Also, Boqu Scooter’s display on its handlebar makes it possible to track speed, battery status and range.
While Boqu Scooter’s unibody form and cable-free design enhances mobility, integrated lights have been designed for lasting harmony of the entire body. By considering safety concerns, additional signal lamps that are compatible with the dynamic structure have been added. Following the “texture dynamism” trend as a starting point, rubber mat has been designed as waved textured. In the same way, by using textures on handles we have gained stylish appearance for these parts along with ergonomy. While Boqu Scooter’s unibody form and hidden electrical equipment enhance mobility, integrated reflectors have maintained harmony of the entire body. Moreover, multiple led lights of the scooter are adapted seamlessly to each other for minimal look.
