Asset Tag is an advanced edge device within the Asset Management System, developed and licensed by Borda Technology. In response to the rapid advancements of Industry 4.0, IoT devices have evolved into more efficient and adaptable systems, giving rise to a specialized field known as ‘Design for IoT.’ As Formeta Design, we played a key role in shaping both the hardware and software aspects of Asset Tag, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and usability.
One of the primary design principles we focused on was customization. To accommodate varying client needs, the device features a replaceable membrane on its top surface. This innovative approach allows companies to easily modify the device’s interface without requiring extensive redesigns, providing a cost-effective and adaptable solution for diverse industries.
The exterior form of Asset Tag was deliberately kept simple to maximize usability and flexibility.
