BUTTERFLY is a gas hob design developed with Ferre, including the BF60a variation described in the source. Formeta Design repositioned the wok burner toward the front and increased its separation from neighbouring burners.

Design Approach
The knobs are placed away from the wok burner, while curved pan supports continue the asymmetric layout. These decisions address the relationships between pan size, access and the surfaces users handle during cooking.
The stainless steel body gives the range a consistent material base. The project demonstrates how changes to burner and support geometry can shape the identity of a familiar kitchen appliance.
