OGEE is a built-in oven designed for Ferre with references to traditional architectural openings. Formeta Design used the ogee curve to shape the relationship between the door, viewing area and handle.

The proposal includes a two-part door and a second handle that can hold towels or oven mitts. These details bring practical interaction into the same design language as the curved opening.
The project explores a rustic direction within contemporary appliance design. Rather than applying surface decoration alone, the historical reference informs the product’s structure and the way it is used.
