DUAL is an angled cooker hood developed with Ferre. Formeta Design divided the sloping face into two sections so the control panel sits within the user’s line of sight.

Design Approach
Glass at the front and metal toward the rear distinguish the surfaces, while geometric texture on the upper area gives the hood a more domestic appearance. The material arrangement and the control position follow the same architectural split.
The project uses the body of the appliance to organise interaction. Its defining feature is the relationship between those two planes, rather than an added control panel applied to a conventional slope.
