HYDROKON is a frequency control unit developed for Etna. Formeta Design worked on an enclosure that responds to the relationship between electronics, plumbing and user controls.

A double-layer top cover separates the electronic and plumbing areas, addressing water exposure as a design consideration. The housing also follows Etna’s product family while giving the unit a compact, distinct form.
The project connects enclosure design with the conditions around the equipment. Rather than treating appearance separately, the form responds to component organisation, access and the unit’s position within a wider system.
