  • Enhanced Pot Holding Surface: Unlike traditional one-chamber modular grating designs, the SL60M features an elongated horizontal structure. This configuration maximizes the pot holding surface, ensuring greater stability during cooking processes.

To further improve safety, additional signal lamps have been added, blending harmoniously with the scooter’s dynamic design. These features not only support the scooter’s functionality but also complement its overall aesthetic, ensuring that safety and style go hand in hand.

The rubber mat design, featuring wavy textures, is a perfect reflection of the smooth and stable lines found throughout the scooter. This design decision maintains the aesthetic flow of the Roqu Mobility while also providing a tactile, comfortable riding surface. An Intraoral Device for Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a serious and often overlooked condition that significantly impacts daily life, leading to fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and long-term health risks such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Millions of individuals suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep due to airway blockage. Addressing this critical issue, Respo Gadgets developed Dormio, an innovative and comfortable intraoral device designed to prevent snoring and alleviate sleep apnea symptoms.

As Formeta Design, we collaborated with Respo Gadgets to refine the product’s usability and exterior design, reimagining Dormio as an adult pacifier. This analogy not only improved user perception by making the device more approachable but also provided a clear reference point for the R&D team during benchmarking. By integrating ergonomic and aesthetic principles, we helped transform Dormio into a seamless wellness product aimed at improving sleep quality and overall well-being.

Dormio’s design is both functional and intuitive, featuring a perfectly contoured shape that comfortably fits within the mouth. Its unibody structure ensures durability while providing optimal support to maintain proper jaw and tongue positioning. By keeping the airway unobstructed, Dormio effectively reduces snoring and prevents episodes of sleep apnea, allowing users to achieve uninterrupted and restorative sleep.

The need for alternative and efficient transport solutions is greater than ever, highlighting the importance of Seacat, an innovative water taxi designed to transform urban mobility.

Seacat is an award-winning hybrid water taxi developed by TVY Marine and designed by Formeta Design. Its hybrid system minimizes fuel consumption and operational costs while maintaining speed and seakeeping performance. The catamaran structure maximizes deck space, ensuring passenger comfort and efficiency, making Seacat an ideal solution for Istanbul’s crowded maritime routes. By offering a fast and eco-friendly alternative, it addresses the growing demand for sustainable urban transport.

The Bosphorus experiences heavy maritime traffic, with ferries and private boats often failing to meet the fast-paced needs of daily commuters. Seacat’s sleek design and hybrid propulsion provide a high-performance, cost-effective alternative to traditional ferry services, reducing congestion and offering a smoother, more practical transport option. This innovation aligns with Istanbul’s efforts to modernize waterborne transportation while reducing environmental impact.

Recognized for its potential, Seacat won third prize at ITU-Seed in 2012, proving its value as a groundbreaking solution. What started as an individual DIY project quickly evolved into a recognized opportunity to create a product that caters specifically to the needs of professional designers who use graphic tablets like the Wacom Intuos 4. This bespoke case is designed with functionality and ease of use in mind, providing a seamless way to transport the Wacom Intuos 4 and all its components securely without the need for an additional bag.

The Tablet Case is crafted from high-quality suede, offering a combination of durability and a soft, elegant finish. The case’s design features cut-out spaces that allow the tablet to remain inside the case while still providing access to essential controls and even the power port. This thoughtful design ensures that users can plug in, unfold, and start working without ever needing to remove the tablet from its protective case, making it an incredibly convenient solution for designers on the move.

In addition to accommodating the tablet, the Tablet Case includes a special compartment to securely store the ultra-sensitive pen, ensuring it is always within reach but protected from damage. The Foldable Notepad, known as Wristwatch, is a unique project developed in collaboration with entrepreneur Seni Sulyman. It represents a new concept in how we take quick, urgent notes in our daily lives. In an era dominated by digital devices, Wristwatch offers a refreshing alternative to traditional note-taking methods, addressing the growing concerns of our increasingly digitized world.

One of the challenges posed by modern technology is the constant need to keep devices charged. Smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other digital devices have become integral to our lives, but they come with the challenge of battery life. As a result, people are faced with new habits, such as regularly checking battery levels and carrying battery backups, all of which have become essential parts of daily life. This dependency on electronic devices has led us to question whether it is truly necessary to rely on chargeable gadgets for even the simplest tasks, such as jotting down a quick note.

Wristwatch offers a solution to this dilemma. Designed with the goal of simplifying daily note-taking while avoiding the complications of battery life, Wristwatch allows users to take notes instantly, without the need for any digital devices or the constant worry of battery depletion. The concept is rooted in the idea that sometimes the simplest tools can be the most effective.

The Foldable Notepad is crafted with a metal structure, making it both foldable and durable, offering a high level of functionality without compromising on portability. Its design is sleek and compact, allowing users to easily carry it in their pocket or bag, ready to be unfolded and used at a moment’s notice. In collaboration with Seni Sulyman, Formeta Design has brought a new perspective to an age-old task. Enhancing User Interaction and Streamlining Product Selection

The B2B Interactive Catalog, created in collaboration with Ferre, serves as a dynamic tool designed for both end users and commercial use, presenting a wide range of design alternatives that emerged from our extensive partnership. This catalog was specifically developed to showcase the numerous options available, particularly in the context of gas hob models and their variations, offering a practical and efficient way for users to explore product choices.

As the first phase of this project, we focused on gas hob models and their variations to test the usability and functionality of the catalog. The result is a user-friendly, intuitive digital interface that allows users to easily navigate through the vast array of available options. The user interaction is simple yet effective, consisting of two main components: a model selection tool and a section for adjusting technical specifications.

The six key specifications that influence the appearance and functionality of the product—hob sizes, hob types, models, burner tray types, knobs, and pieces—can all be customized simultaneously within the app. As users select and modify these options, the interactive catalog dynamically updates the product preview in real-time, allowing users to visualize the finished product on a single page. This streamlined and engaging user experience provides a comprehensive view of the product, simplifying decision-making and enhancing product understanding.

One of the major challenges we addressed was ensuring that the catalog could handle a large volume of design alternatives effectively. With OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) projects often producing a variety of models and configurations, we recognized the importance of operational archiving—maintaining an organized, efficient system for tracking and accessing these countless variations. The catalog’s backend system was designed to support this, making it easier for Ferre to manage and present their extensive product line without compromising usability or performance.

At Formeta Design, our role goes beyond just product design. We actively contributed to the product development process, ensuring that the catalog not only reflected Ferre’s innovative and stylish brand identity but also optimized their operational workflow. By focusing on the practical needs of the business and the end user, we provided a comprehensive solution that addressed both visual appeal and functionality.

Through our design approach, we introduced a new way of communicating Ferre’s brand digitally—creating a disruptive, innovative interactive catalog that not only enhances user interaction but also strengthens the company’s digital presence. By integrating high-quality visuals and a seamless user interface, the catalog maintains Ferre’s reputation for elegance and innovation while offering a practical tool for both customers and businesses alike.
