Inocharge AC Charging Station is a product born out of the long-standing collaboration between Formeta Design and Inotel, blending functionality, aesthetics, and cutting-edge design to provide a new perspective in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure. As the global demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, the need for innovative, efficient, and visually appealing charging stations is more urgent than ever. Inocharge Charging Station offers a solution that not only meets these needs but also elevates the overall user experience, making it an integral part of modern mobility.

The design of Inocharge Charging Station stands out with its geometric and striking lines, drawing inspiration from vehicle design and mobility. Its form emphasizes an intuitive and sleek aesthetic, seamlessly fitting into a variety of environments. The rounded main outline of the station creates a clear visual focus around the charging socket, providing both functionality and an elegant design language. To further enhance the user experience, the station features a ring LED light surrounding the socket, emphasizing the charging point in a way that is both functional and visually engaging. This thoughtful integration of light creates a cohesive design that stands out in both day and night settings.

With years of experience in the field, we were actively involved in the early-stage design process, including component design, pre-production, and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) selection, ensuring that every detail was considered to perfection. This comprehensive approach allowed us to work in close synergy with Inotel, ensuring that the design was seamlessly transitioned from concept to production, resulting in a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing product.

Additionally, Inocharge Charging Station offers versatility with its options for both socketed and socketless usage, catering to a wide range of charging needs. Its clean, minimalist design ensures it remains a visually appealing element in any setting. The top protrusion designed for the control panel and indicator lights is both functional and user-friendly, ensuring easy access and visibility for users, enhancing the overall ease of use.

These colors are chosen to fit diverse spaces, from commercial and urban environments to residential areas. The aviation sector has faced significant disruptions due to the pandemic, not only economically but also sociologically, as passengers increasingly demand more personal space and hygienic environments. S-Pro emerged from these evolving requirements, allowing passengers to control their seating environment via smart devices—eliminating the need to touch any surface apart from their personal device. This innovative design is a response to these new needs, paving the way for a hygienic and seamless air travel experience.

Modern Aesthetic and Functional Design

The fabrics chosen for the seats are nano-coated for enhanced hygiene and ease of cleaning. The design’s organic, fluid lines break away from traditional symmetrical forms, reflecting a future-forward aesthetic. Light composite materials were chosen for their lightweight properties to meet aviation requirements and ensure comfort, especially for longer flights.

Smart Headrest Features

The S-Pro headrest is illuminated and adjustable, offering dynamic positioning to ensure comfort for every passenger. The noise-canceling feature reduces background noise, helping to create a more serene environment for passengers. Direct Sound Technology eliminates the need for disposable earphones, offering a sustainable and high-quality audio experience.

The square-format screen maximizes display size and allows for control of other seat functions while maintaining a 16:9 video format. The tray table features a two-stage design, extending outward to provide additional storage and ease of use. These components are all controllable via a smart device, aligning with the seat’s no-touch concept.

S-Pro seats offer reclining functionality, allowing for a comfortable 100-degree seating angle, with an additional 8 degrees of recline for extra comfort. The seat’s unibody design minimizes surface contamination and is easy to clean, offering a hygienic seating solution for air travel. Smart foldable footrests and armrests further enhance comfort and are fully integrated with the no-touch mobile app.

Angled Cooker Hood

Innovation in Kitchen Design

The Layered Angled Cooker Hood designed for Ferre brings a striking and avant-garde aesthetic to modern kitchens. Unlike traditional range hoods that blend into the surrounding cabinetry, the Layered model stands out with its asymmetrical design, offering a bold, contemporary statement. In this design, we emphasized the flawless harmony between glass and stainless steel materials, creating a compelling contrast that elevates the overall look.

In contrast to conventional range hoods, we positioned the control panel at the center of the unit. The glass surface itself acts as a framing element, accentuating the control panel with its contrasting tones. This strategic use of glass and stainless steel creates a visual balance and adds a sense of depth, providing a modern and sophisticated appearance. The stainless steel frame surrounding the glass not only enhances the contrast but also ties the materials together in perfect harmony.

The metal on the back of the unit is subtly curved towards the user, which adds a domestic, approachable feel while also incorporating surface reflections as a design element. This thoughtful approach brings both functional and aesthetic benefits, enhancing the user experience and the overall appeal of the product.

Rustic Built-In Oven

The design of rustic ovens carries deep historical significance, reflecting both the art of cooking and humanity’s long-standing relationship with fire and craftsmanship. One of the most essential design elements of rustic ovens is the open space that allows us to see the inside of the oven. This opening, inspired by the window-like gaps created by early humans, holds symbolic value, often acting as a “keystone” element that ties the oven’s function to its ancient origins. To design a rustic oven, it wasn’t enough to focus on modern technologies; instead, we looked back into history, embracing the essence of cultural and architectural research.

The GAP oven incorporates this idea through its design. The form of the opening, which allows the user to view the interior, is derived from the ancient Roman practice of creating windows and door openings. By mirroring this form vertically, we not only preserved the historic aesthetic but also integrated a modern approach that emphasizes the opening itself. To enhance both the functionality and tactile experience, we introduced an arched handle that serves as both a design feature and a practical element, allowing users to interact with the oven more intuitively.

The combination of these historical references with contemporary design solutions ensures that the GAP oven doesn’t just serve as a cooking appliance, but as a fusion of past and present. Through this design, Formeta Design and Ferre have created an appliance that is as much about cultural storytelling as it is about modern functionality.

Rustic Built-In Oven

The evolution of products is driven by choices, and the devices we use today have progressed through a series of decisions, each one impacting the path we take. Every selection represents not only an advancement but also the missed possibilities of other alternatives. In the world of modern appliances, characterized by sleek glass surfaces and black-and-white designs, rustic ovens have often been overlooked, losing their place as an essential choice. However, rustic ovens, with their historical roots and timeless appeal, hold valuable design elements that resonate with both the act of cooking and the human history of craftsmanship.

The design of rustic ovens dates back to ancient times, where open gaps and window-like spaces were integrated into the structure of the oven. These spaces, used to monitor the cooking process, have been a part of cooking technology for millennia. We were inspired by these elements and recognized that to design a rustic oven, we needed to delve into a deeper cultural research, exploring designs from centuries ago rather than focusing solely on contemporary technologies.

The OGEE oven embodies these historical design inspirations while incorporating modern functionality. The unique shape of the oven’s door and its interaction with light and space is derived from the OGEE form—a design that hails from Roman architecture. This curvature, which creates an opening within the door, is a key detail. It allows a connection to the past while facilitating a modern solution. One of the main features of this design is the two-part oven door. After extensive observation and research, we developed the idea of integrating a second handle, not just for opening the door but also for practical purposes, such as hanging towels and oven mitts.

This feature, which may seem simple, was made possible through modern engineering solutions, such as a pull-open mechanism, something that would have been impossible in previous designs. By blending cultural elements with today’s technological advancements, the OGEE oven brings the past and present together.

The OGEE oven was first showcased at the IFA Berlin exhibition, marking a milestone in Ferre and Formeta Design’s collaboration. This project not only highlights our commitment to innovative design but also demonstrates how deeply understanding the past can inspire and shape future technologies, creating timeless appliances that feel both ancient and modern.

DEVR-I ALEM

Isometric City Game

Devr-i Alem is an interactive mobile game designed to allow users to redeem and spend loyalty points, miles, and rewards by partnering with other popular applications. The game features an engaging user experience, where players can navigate through beautifully crafted 3D isometric city maps, representing 20 cities from around the world.

The game’s aesthetic and highly detailed city illustrations are the result of a collaboration between Formeta Design and designer Türker Acartürk. As part of our involvement, Formeta Design took on key responsibilities, including art direction, 3D modeling, rendering, and the recomposition of compact city maps. The cities range from iconic locations like New York, Paris, and Tokyo to culturally rich cities like Istanbul, each accurately portrayed with several famous landmarks, designed to offer both a fun and immersive experience for players.

Our process involved creating detailed and compact versions of these cities, while maintaining the essence of their unique features. This was achieved through precise and thoughtful design work, ensuring that each map was not only visually striking but also functional for the game’s interactive elements.

In addition to the city illustrations, Formeta Design also developed various icons and interactive components that enhanced the gameplay experience. These design elements support the game’s interaction system, making it more intuitive and engaging for players. Our design work helped create a seamless and visually appealing experience, ensuring the user interface was as immersive as the game world itself.

The Devr-i Alem game is fully licensed and managed by Pharos Media, who recognized the value of this collaboration in creating a product that combines both entertainment and functionality in a novel way. Through our partnership with Pharos Media, the game continues to expand and offer new opportunities for players to engage with popular services through a rewarding and interactive platform.

Overall, Devr-i Alem reflects our commitment to blending artistic vision with cutting-edge technology, resulting in a visually captivating game that provides users with both an interactive experience and practical rewards.
